We recommend windshield wipers as the fuse is usually easy to locate and remove and it’s an easy diagnosis for the tested mechanic. Swap your working fuse with a blown fuse that we purchase, blow and send to you. Tell a mechanic you want to test that your wipers aren’t working. See what they quote you. Acceptable quotes range from free to 1 hour labor + the cost of the fuse. If they tell you it’s just the fuse then let them know you can fix that yourself. If they say it’s anything else tell, thank them for the quote and leave. If they ask you to book in a time, up to you how you handle that, I would just say “I’m going to fix it myself” or if you want to avoid confrontation book in a time for next week and cancel the booking (or just don’t go to the scheduled time - don’t feel bad, they tried to rip you off!). ***You will need to send the make model and year of your vehicle to use - for example Ford (make) Explorer (model) 2005 - to us via email so the right fuse can be purchased and blown.
